Angel Verde is a full-time filmmaker and video producer, and a avid creative, outdoors person, community advocate, and hobbyist printmaker.
He started making very tiny prints using a Cosco 2000 Plus S300 custom address stamp maker in 2016 setting each litter with tiny tweezers! After upgrading to a proofing press, Angel started to work with letterpress type and lino which he does in his small print studio in his home.
Most of his work is on A4 and A6 sized paper or card folds.
Currently, Angel uses a Provisional Press proofing press, hand carved lino for design, some vintage lead type for small point work, and 3D printed type for anything over 18pts that he designs and has printed at his local library 3D printer lab which charges at cost, which at times can be less than $20 for a full set of type. He is also a member of the Shenandoah Valley Art Center in Waynesboro VA where he has access to a small Pearl platen press (that he'll eventually learn how to use).
Angel currently lives and works in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.

Personal Acknowledgement
There are many amazing printmakers out there in the world but by in large, John Reburn of Appalachia Press, unknowingly planted the seed for my eventual printmaking & letterpress adventure by kindly exposing, educating, and instilling a deep love and appreciation for letterpress and extremely thick, soft, 100% cotton paper, built over countless visits to his little storefront in downtown Roanoke, Virginia nearly 15 years ago.
I'd also like to thank my good friend, and incredibly talented designer and artist, Brian Yohn, for being apart of nearly ever creative project I've done over the last 10 years, who continues to be perpetual collaborator, a great resource for print and design, answering late night texts, and letting me help him get his print studio setup so we can get his Kluge platen press up and running and start doing some fun prints together. Woo!
